Azurelee Drive, Malibu
5000 square feet completely reshaped from bare dirt to a lush paradise including 20 large trees planted. A complete natural ecosystem achieved including a water feature, a low-water irrigation system and native/ drought resistant plants. In just two years, this landscape is the main attraction of an annual garden tour in the area and one of the crowning achievements for My Illusion Landscapes.
Very importantly, is the innovation of rendering the entire property to be completely fire resistant through the strategic design, tree and plant placement and heavy-duty emergency soakers. Although we offer fire remediation for properties, fire abatement and the proper environment ensures your investments from garden to home are protected.
Rambla Pacifico Street, Malibu
A backyard retreat, this garden at its installation looks like it has been there for at least ten years and the main objective was to blend what was there, which was very little, to what was new in a seamless manner. With the use of California low water Coastals and the implementation of a drip system, this gorgeous landscape has all the right elements to thrive in vitality.
A source of great pride for My Illusion Landscapes, this type of garden ensures the communal engagement of wildlife and attracts pollinators such as bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, all in harmony with nature.
Chester Ave, Pasadena
More often, grass lawns are being replaced with less demanding options, such as gravel or decomposed granite. Homeowners want curb appeal without the added cost on their water bills. While this garden is economical and long-lasting, it is also very visually pleasing with organic shapes and curves. There are many ways to be creative in design with unconventional materials. My Illusion Landscapes resolved the mixed light dilemma, due to the large Cedar, with the use of plants that fare well in both sunlight and shade. Only an expert in botany would know which ones to use! Once wasted space, it is now an inviting and interactive habitat….. and quite the talk of the neighborhood!
